Hello, stranger. This is my website. My real name is Brian, but on the Internet I'm usually known as Two Schizophrenics.

Myself

Born in the summer of '89. I live in the Netherlands, where I'm currently studying Game Design and Development. I enjoy making pixel art as well as the occasional 3d modeling, though my true passion lies with game design itself. I have a Wii, but most I mostly play games on my PC. I don't smoke, drink or do any psychoactive stuff. I strongly believe that real satisfaction is found in the soul, not in the body.

Music I listen to is a combination of seventies rock and video game soundtracks. In case you're familiar with last.fm, here's my page.

My nick

A lot of people (but still countable on two normal hands) have asked me where I got that name from, as it's rather unusual opposed to the generic "darkdragonslayer92" or "flaming_ninja_monkey". The answer is usually somewhat elaborate, because I like to confuse people with fancy words.

In short, schizophrenia is a psychiatric illness which mainly consists of hallucination, paranoia and delusions. In some cases it also means the infamous hearing voices. You could say it's like having a very lively fantasy.

In popular culture, schizophrenia and multiple personality disorder (or dissociative identity disorder, if you like it fancy) and often confused. Because of this, I figured people would get the joke of 'two multiple personality disorder patients' sooner, but most people don't even know what a 'shizzamajenic' is. I've actually had a guy who thought it was pronounced 'two shizzles'. Most people get to 'two shitsomaniacs?'

Am I schizophrenic? No. Well, not as far as I know. I guess that if you can't tell reality from fantasy you couldn't really tell you'd be mentally ill, either. But hey, that voice saying I should set everything on fire is just my conscience, right?
